Talula Zuhra Soenharjo (Ula)

Born in Jakarta, Indonesia in August 1993. Ula graduated from Universitas Pelita Harapan with a major in Art and Design in 2016. Now, she works as an exhibitions manager in a Jakarta based art advisory, a freelance art curator and an illustrator.
She has curated two exhibitions under her belt in collaboration with the artist collective Tiny Studios in Jakarta, including Faizal Rahadi Wibowo’s solo exhibition ‘FRAW’ and Nadine Hanisya’s solo exhibition ‘Discordia Digitalis’.

Her major influences come from her love of campy horror movies of the 1980s such as Sleepaway Camp, Terrorvision and Indonesian classics like Sundel Bolong and Ratu Ilmu Hitam. She enjoys erotic literature and find the candid female sexuality portrayed in books and cinema as her main inspiration.
